I came across this article on airport security measures not having any effect. I share the author's opinion that current security measures only serve to make things more difficult for common travellers without severely hindering terrorists at all. And what is worse is, they aren't even being properly enforced, as illustrated by the author's successful attempts to breach the system. If airport staff can't be bothered to enforce security, what are the rest of us suffering for?
