Saturday, July 15, 2006 It's been quite a while since this happened. Last night's dreams were finally pleasant, I had a good sleep and I woke up in a good mood. I also managed to sleep past 10am for the first time this week. So, finally got some good things to blog about. :) My parents said last night during dinner that I have a blessed life. I thought about it and agreed. So they told me that I should treasure what I have. And I asked, how to treasure what I have? Beyond being thankful, beyond doing what I'm doing now? They were stumped. I jokingly asked, what, you want me to do big stuff? Invent the cure for cancer? And they said that would be nice! But, for me, what I want from life are actually pretty simple. I want to get the basics right, most importantly of all. I want to be a good husband, I want to be a good father, I want to be a filial son, I want to be a good elder brother, I want to be a good friend. If, along the way, I can save half of mankind and leave my name for posterity, that's icing on the cake. Will be busy busy busy all the way till school opens, and then beyond! Aiyah holiday objectives less than 50% complete.. carry over again lor :P To a friend: If you're still reading this blog, wouldn't be able to see you off at the airport, so here's Bon Voyage.
