2nd day of leave. Thursday. Woke up shouting to a really bad dream. Switched on the computer and lo! Half Life 2 downloading completed (I bought it online)! Started it up, played it for only 10 minutes, and suddenly my phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Ops room here. Get back to camp right away. You've been activated."
And there goes my super-duper-ultra-uber long weekend.
So it was back on Thursday, back on Friday, back today and for at least the rest of the month, as they heighten security and raise alertness for the festive season. Therefore apologies for missing the JC class outing today, and apologies to the dozens of people who I've meant to ask out but whom I can't ask out now.
If I ever catch meself a terrorist, unlikely as that may be, I'm gonna clobber him into the ground. Literally. *grumble*
By the way, Happy Birthday, Windz!! Finally you're the same age as the rest of us, sure took you long ;-)
